In November, she launched Milou Palm Beach, a chic clothing and accessories boutique in The Esplanade on Worth Avenue. "I found a loyal following and always wanted to be in Palm Beach because ii is close to home," she notes. A portmanteau of the beginnings of her and her husband's first names, Milou is filled with cotton linen dresses, skirts, shirts, jackets, hats, jewelry, shoes, leather bags, and more.
"Fashion is a passion where I curate equestrian inspired, seasonless pieces for the woman who travels the world, and I also create baby dresses and outfits in several styles inspired by my children," de Guardiola says. "My newest design project is a line of scented candles."
Since adding the demands of fashion design and running an online and retail boutique, she admits her life is crazy. "I am busy," says de Guardiola, who Jives with her family on a Wellington farm that includes a beautiful barn with 24 stalls. "I love everything about horses, fashion design, operating a boutique, doting on my family, and raising my kids the way my mom raised me."
